Scope of Role:
- Responsible for maintaining relationship with Singapore based customers, acquiring new accounts and lead a team of relationship managers to help develop the Singapore client base;
- Submit loan proposals;
- Service SME from Singapore or JV companies;
- Understand business strategies of Singapore companies, the risk associated with the strategies and the capability to execute that strategy in terms of market dynamics, financial strengths, management skills;
- Responsible for marketing the full range of the bank’s products;
- Accountable in line with Group Policy, for credit risk of customers, including understanding JV and country risk issues.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability in account relationship management;
- Solid Client based in particular Singapore company or JV accounts in China;
- Relevant experience in leading a team;
- Fluent in English, Putonghua and Chinese;
- Good understanding or knowledge of the local market and culture;
- Good communication and negotiation skills with multi-cultural awareness;
- Good credit appraisal and marketing skills;
- General understanding of the economic, political and business environment in the region, in particular, Singapore and China;
- Able to engage various stakeholders, and work well in a team;
- University degree.
